I was disgusted to see Eamon Dunphy report in the Star normally worth a look. Todays was full of shit about Rooney being a World Class player and his goal is something only World Class players can do. He never once stated how poor Rooney played in the game. I think most jurnos just seen the goal and went over board about it and forgot about how poorly he played in the rest of the game.

He's the typical Match of the Day type fan. Sees a goal or good pass and that gets someone into his team of the week. The kind of person who reckoned Pedersen at Blackburn was one of the best in the league because he hit a few nice shots. Probably thinks De Jong is shite because he never scores.

A mate of mine pointed out his bias towards black players. I'm not sure if that's entirely true but there are times you have to wonder with certain selections.
