This is real life not footy manager. Maybe what i should have said is that you dont blow several millions on transfer fee and contract on an average player to cover for four matches and then the said player becomes surplus to requirements. Hughes is not the manager anymore.

That would leave us needing two CBs for next season. You could make a case for bringing forward the recruitment of one of them to now if there's someone available on the cheap because he'd be on a Bosman in the summer.

As it happens, I'm not Cahill's biggest fan. But if we were to go for him now, then the logic would be something like this rather than just needing someone for four games.

Hhahaha(laugh) Cahill may well be going to Chelsea,Rags bring back Scholes,Henry rejoins Arsenal,Liverpool have fuk all. So don't worry my Blue friends they are all no threat to us, when we get our players back from suspension and they regain fitness we will cakewalk the rest of the season, especially when we beat Harry Redknapp's Tottenham Hotspur on the 22nd of January then the league will be our's, so have no fear fellow Blues.
