Shit thats awful....always seemed to be the fun/cheeky one out all that lot
The night before the first Oasis gig at Maine Road myself and a bunch of others ( @There is a Light ) had travelled over and were in Sankeys...and like star struck indie fan boys...we were noticing a few "stars" about the place.....was stood beside Mani at the bar, decided to say hello and he struck a long, great conversation (it wasnt that long after Squire had left the Roses)....and to his merit, he put up with our crap, even asked us to join out in the back yard bit (memory a bit hazy/messy)....but he spent ages with us, having a laugh and being the "star" i hoped he'd be
So so sad....was just commenting the other day about his dinner posts on Instagram!

Always felt during the reunion that Brown wanted the money, Squire missed playing big stages, Reni was there reluctantly but Mani just seemed ecstatic to be playing with his mates again.

RIP. Knew him from growing up in Failsworth. Not really mates as such but went to his 60th last year in The Bay Horse, NQ. 60 is too young these days.
