Superb send off this morning; scooter lads bookending the funeral cortège. The coffin was Jackson Pollock-style.
I’m sure the cathedral will be absolutely packed. And rightly so.

Brilliant send off. Every Manchester face worth their salt in attendance. Tunes blasting out. Little tear in my eye.

Shame that Beckham gets all the headlines. FFS A legendary Manc musician has died and most headlines lead with that plantpot. Bit weird when we all watched the footage of Hattons funeral and seeing Mani in bits and then weeks later he was gone. Tragic. RIP Mani. A true legend.

This was a really close up shot of his coffin :( :( it took me back probably long lenses, I really feel for his two lads and his family, rest easy Mani…………. Liam and Debbie were there with the mourners to pay respects

Was so sad seeing Reni, John Squire and Ian brown carrying him out. So emotional.
The four of them back together for one last time.
I was crying laughing at Ian Brown's eulogy, that about the exhaust pipe was piss funny.
Me and my daughter went down to Heaton Moor to see Mani one last time, he got a fantastic turnout and rightly so.

God bless him.

What was the story about a woman who was arrested ? Was this someone from the funeral or a member of the public outside the cathedral ?
