For any City fan though it's something that's been staring us in the face all season and nothing we didn't know already.
I apologies in advance if the above comes across as condecending as it's not meant in that way.

I agree, we knew it because we watch it every week.
I do like how Neville quantified it using statistics. It's something anyone could have done with a few hours of research, but you don't see anyone on Match of the Day even bothering to put effort like that into an analysis. Hansen gets paid 40k per show and can't be bothered to do basic research.
And you would be correct. Does my head in how many times our strikers will be in good positions and not given the proper service.Danamy said:A good analysis for those that haven't watched City too much this season to highlight what great movement he has off the ball and also a good insight for any kid about how to play off the shoulder.

The two best pundits on the box, by far. The twats on MOTD should watch Neville and Souness at work and learn something.Danamy said:Blue Haze said:Danamy said:A good analysis for those that haven't watched City too much this season to highlight what great movement he has off the ball and also a good insight for any kid about how to play off the shoulder.

Yeah I agree
He's a breath of fresh air for Sky in the fact he speaks his mind and isn't just another yes man like the rest of them, apart from Souness I might add.

Aguero is a brilliant striker who could be the leagues top scorer next season, Aguero makes great runs when playing on the last defender's shoulder, Aguero prefers to play with footballers that can see and make the early pass - no shit sherlock.
WOW! All hail the messiah with the face of a rat.
However, isn't he simply basing his entire idea of this "perfect" Aguero-Tevez partnership pretty much on the displays shown by them in two games there? Firstly against a very poor wba team at our place who didn't put up much of a fight; and secondly on a "better-than-expected-but-still-really-cannon-fodder-for-the-top-teams" norwich team? Hardly the strongest defensive units are they. Don't get me wrong here, I think Aguero is world class, I also think Tevez is world class, but it just feels a little bit like I'm a fish eating a worm on a hook when I hear him speak.
Still, he makes a decent point and fair play to him, he doesn't seem to be as anti-city as I imagined he would be, but, I'm suspicious about his motives regarding Balotelli. IMO United are more than a bit scared of the lad after his derby displays, both earlier this year and at wembley, and maybe uncle rednose has told him to peddle out this stuff to influence choices.
United know how to defend against Tevez.
United don't know how to defend against Balotelli (when he isn't having one of his many head-up-his-arse moments.)
Leopards do not change their spots.
