Cup games are 2 legs, they won 2nd leg against a team in the 3rd tier, beat Granada the team 2nd from bottom (19th) in both legs and drew at home and won away to las palmas of Tenerife who are 16th in la liga, promoted via the play offs last season. So apart from the 4-0 home cup win against the team 2nd from bottom there's nothing to be proud of so far.

Errm, good record in the cups, shite in the league. Former managers spring to mind (don't forget their other clubs too (okay They won div 2 with TD)...

Of course that is a mediocre record no way to slice it. It's easy for the modern knee jerk football fan to right him off as a failure already. You still have to give him reasonable time to fairly judge him. Even if he won every game up to now I'd say the same thing.
