Gary Neville

It's quite funny that people like to have a dig at Neville but it's only natural him being a rags fan I suppose so I don't really mind.

I don't care whether Gord's having a laugh here but, I'm probably one of the few Blues who's read his book (toilet reading, Mrs's book), and, to be fair you do get a far better insight to him as a person and he's not half as bad as many people think or hope he would be, yes he's a bit of a weener but he's clearly very knowledgeable on the game, and he's very much like Keegan in that he wears his heart on his sleeve and lets his emotions get the better of him, when you see his career laid out in black and white you have to say it is very fuckin impressive, he lived the dream so to speak, I'd be a giddy **** if I'd had a life like that with City.

PS and yes, he was honest enough to admit 'feeding the Goat' was unforgiveable and got to him big time.
 
Sat across the aisle from him on a train to London a couple of weeks ago. He was with some suit who I assume is his business partner/financial advisor. All journey he was banging on about his business plans that basically were all about milking his United past. Clearly his business success is dependant on United's.

Came across as a very clever man but do not under estimate the fact that he will be desperate for United to succeed, not just as a fan and ex-player.

No, just another 5 or 6! Anyway, good WUMing for a Sunday. VVK has outdone you though, he's on 10 pages right now.
