Gary Neville

Gary Neville says something.
Simon Jordan disagrees.

Cool, it looks like the "divide and conquer" tactics that I stupidly believed everybody was able to see for the bullshit that they are, are working to a tee.

It's like the dippers suddenly being willing to believe everything that the media tell them about our 115 case despite their knowledge of the lies they're willing to tell to reach their goal, simply because the liars now have somebody else centred in the crosshairs.
Divide and conquer has always been a tactic deployed by those in power.

But there's now a telling difference; social media. Those in power, compared to their erstwhile counterparts, don't need to exert as much energy and cunning into the division because these technological "advancements" are doing all the work for them. As evidenced by the quality of modern "statesmen" bestowed upon us.

Was driving through Bartley Green by the reservoir & Weoley Castle in Birmingham today, it was like a Nuremburg rally with all the bloody flags.
All funded by a GoFundMe page apparently

Far right my arse, some of you deserve 1933 just so you can tell the difference.

Funnily enough, those guys started by uniting under a flag. All just concerned citizens so they were, not in any way prejudicial.

But at least they had the decency to design and make their own bloody flags!

If you or others don't see the sinister side to this, rough times ahead.

The movement is very much racist and xenophobic, no matter how much some try to convince themselves otherwise. Being uncomfortable about it is natural and a good start (if not too late). Even if it takes fucking Gaty Neville to point that out.

When you are told you can not put up a British flag, Union Jack or the St George flag in your own country, then there is something badly wrong ? Why does it upset or offend other people who are not from here ? but want to live here.

Being British is not a crime or something to be ashamed of, just like every other country and their people being proud of their flags, People from Britain and the UK just want some of our identity back because it's home, Yes to multicultural people living here, you are welcome with open arms and to spread your culture, i love all the different stuff they bring like food and their history
No one's saying you can't do it - it's just strange that it suddenly becomes fashionable when the right wingers - National front, British National Party, Ukip and then Brexiteers and now the Reform sheep - whichever the fascists of the day like to call themselves - suddenly decide to put them everywhere as a message that "others" aren't welcome.

It's a bit like the rags - couldn't give a fuck about the Munich dead for 20 years, then suddenly decided they were the flowers of Manchester, and have marketed it ever since.

It's fine in the right place. On a Government building or even on your own home, if you must, if you're so precious about your identity being stolen. When the great unwashed hoardes start hanging them randomly on fences, and literally painting a red cross of St George on a white mini roundabout, it's a deliberately divisive message intended to drive wedges between the communities you would otherwise so warmly open your heart to - and enjoy "their culture and history..." as you put it.

I'm always amused by people like Simon Jordan who use 'champagne socialist' as a dismissive term for Gary Neville. Clearly it's used in a derogatory way. Applying his logic should we use the term' beer swilling fascist ' for Nigel Farage?

Spot on, which is why it is so shit they have abused the national flags, rather than just making up their own to suit their message.
