If all these flag flyers were actual Christian Patriots then churches should be seeing increased congregations (they aren't) and Remebrance Sunday should see massively increased attendances ( there won't be ) when in reality they will lie in as its a Sunday then get up and off out to the pub

Because some people are raising the union flag or St George’s cross to deliberately incite violence against ethnic minorities.

No one is saying you can’t display a flag, but it’s the context in which it is deployed.

Maybe I’d have more respect for people crying about the British flags if they had the same energy for the Palestinian flags being waved everywhere, which makes some Jewish people feel intimidated and unsafe in their own towns in this country, including Manchester.
Guess this doesn’t fit the agenda.

Its well known the CoE is dying on its arse - the only churches showing growth are evangelistic churches. I know and read that year on year Remembrance day attendances are down - veterans are dying ( very few WW2 survivors now) and the young don't turn out because they have no memories of conflicts - the Falklands were nearly 25 years ago, Kosovo was 26 years ago, Afghan was 25 years ago the one that always gets overlooked is Korea where the UK made huge sacrifices but that was 75 years ago but that has never been acknowledged for some reason - plus other insurgencies, Troubles etc but the people putting up Temu flags won't be attending services to remember the dead.

Sorry you are offended by the odd missing apostrophe though - I would recommend the book Eats, Shoots, Leaves by Lynne Truss

Neville has hit the nail right on the head, and people don't like it.

This rise of the far right, which is spreading across the world, in France, Italy, USA, Ireland and the UK is orchestrated by middle aged white men. Specifically Billionaires.

They create this division and unrest, so that they can convince the working classes to punch down instead of looking up at the people who are actually screwing them. Farage and Trump are in the pockets of these Billionaires. And they tell people that its the peasants in boats who are making you all poor. Who are taking all your jobs and money. Not them, not the wealthy billionaires who hoard all of the wealth for themselves.

If the silent majority of people in these countries managed to get their act together, and stand up for the truth, and held these billionaires to account, this would be the change that could actually save mankind for the better.

We need more people with a public presence to stand up and call it out for what it is.
