Yes let's not. I lived it all, and at the time was against a lot of it, so my view is hardly a partisan one. I stand by it though, the two were and remain completely different.

Nobody put up a flag outside my house, or on lamposts on my street, a bridge I cross, a listed building my kids use as a school, a roundabout I drive etc. My neighbour put his in his window, a friend stuck a sticker on their car, I judged them both and we laughed it off, we still love each other. They didn't do it to send a message that only they and 'their kind' are welcome here though, that's for damn sure.

And even if you were right (which you are not), it is anywhere between not relevant other than a feeble attempt at whataboutery and meaningless point scoring - and actually proving the point I and others are making about the current situation. Leaving it there, for that reason.

What are children of ethinc minorities? What comes into that percentage, kids that are not white?

Britain has and has historically had large percentages of brits of non-white colour and descent, including our footballers and athletes amongst others. How is this shocking news, or am I genuinely missing something? Why is this suddenly an upsetting concern?

How do you know the ethnic minorities don't come from legal immigration?

Is there are breakdown showing the % coming from illegal immigration because you seem to be linking illegal immigration with minorities starting school?

Interestingly, a lot of children at some stage had Irish backgrounds and they were also considered minorities. People cared less about those children though for some reason.
