A tale as old as time (thank you disney) and there's always enough people that fall for it every single time. The problem we have is social media is owned by the same bastards with the wealth, so they can skew the narrative and get everyone angry. Add bots and AI into that mix and we're fucked.

Got it in one. Billionaire's owning all the media outlets so it's in their interest to stoke division and keep the plebs, as they view us, fighting amongst ourselves. There are also paid up agitators on both sides who get lots of airtime to keep the division and hatred going. When demonstrations are happening, again there will be paid agitators there to provoke violence if none is happening.

Bots and AI is very worrying too as it's so good now it's very hard to tell what's actually real and manipulated.

It's on all sides too. I tend to be on the left of arguments, and I've had mates proudly telling me they owned someone being a nazi on twitter. What fucking good has that done anyone other than elon musk and his crowd? And there's a good chance they were arguing with a bot or a troll anyway so no one's opinion is going to get changed with their eloquent tweeting. It's not solved anything, you just get pissed off in your kitchen telling people off. Fuck that.

I'm completely convinced that the trans argument 100% started and has been guided along via st petersberg troll farms. It's a perfect argument to get shitloads of people, on all sides, with their knickers in a massive twist. *dons tin hat

It's the same with all subjects. The MSM put some person nobody has ever heard of on GMTV or some other shite programme. These people then rant about a subject nobody really gave a fuck about. The tabloids and social media then make sure everybody who missed the programme ensure they know about it by making sure it's their headline. This then draws attention to the subject and because the person ranting is often so over the top about it people are up in arms. Rinse and repeat.

Thing is I don’t think a lot of people really realise just how big the wealth disparity is or where it actually is.

It’s always been the same though, those with proper wealth will always try and get others to, at most, only punch slightly up and most of the time down. That’s been made so much easier to do as well nowadays because of a load of factors.

I’ve said for ages we’re long overdue a reset, the issue is it normally ends up being a war that does it.

Spot on. It's exhausting, and it's why i'm happy i've sacked twitter off.

Just checking though. Regardless of anything in the past few days, Gary Neville is still a **** right?
