Got to agree. When people speak about influential artists, this bloke is never mentioned, probably because it just isn't hip to like him.

Good with his fans as well, that good he even married one of them!

Much is to do with his mis-trust of the press/media from the late 70's early 80's that he doesn't really go for the spotlight these days, they treated him disgracefully back then, he was just a kid, he also thinks that he took a lot of credit for stuff Ultravox (John Foxx Ultravox) and a few others did, he's a very likeable and very very humble guy to be honest.

He ''came out'' as Tory in the early 80's I recall and was therefore (correctly) denied any positive column inches inthe NME........
