Gate for Ajax

Spot on Nicholas, why we feel the need to sing songs about the rags at any game apart from a Derby is beyond me. They constantly harp on about us, Liverpool and Leeds in their nursery rhymes, shouldn't we try to be everything they are not, City songs all the way. The sub-human slime don't even register with me, i never watch them on the TV, i read nothing about them and i don't fraternise with any of the easy option taking lemmings who follow them, City all the way.

I understand it at the everton game cause its a week before the derby, i loved the 6-1 as much as any city fan but ffs dont sing abiout it against ajax, get down there blues, loud and proud<br /><br />-- Mon Nov 05, 2012 1:20 pm --<br /><br />

maybe all the mouthy bastards off facebook/twitter who all decided they like city/football around 4.53pm on 13th may 2012 could come along instead of being part of the "skysports generation" (yes i know its on itv)

Too easy now to say your a fan without actually going to the games, money tight but if youve never had any intention of ever watching a live game then dont "support " city

i know people who used to go city/united in 60s/70s/80s etc and for me they have a voicve theyve just been priced out, its like the wankers who come out the woodwork for euros/world cup and then ask why "becks" or "lamps" isnt playing

lets get behind the lads and please

NO UNITED SONGS

I think you've picked the wrong team if you don't like anti united songs. It's been like that for as long as I've been alive and I don't see it changing anytime soon, especially as we are going toe to toe with them on the pitch.

but when i was younger we had 1 or 2 players to sing about. white/quinn or rosler/kinky, now we got sergio, mario, tevez, dzeko, silva, nasri, yaya,VK,lescott(once were top again), get behind team, fuck united its city vs ajax and we are in the shit at the moment regarding champions league

Not tomorrow night we're not.

I do understand your point but we are a little too bothered about them if you ask me and it would be nice, on a night we don't have to gove them one single thought, to be just pro-City.

You don't see Liverpool singing about United or Everton on big European nights.

spot on, if i was a city player who had won title,fa cup, charity shield, playing in champions league squad then songs about these achievements would be what i'd want to hear, and fuck off with "if you hate man united clap your hands" its like a bunch a five year olds in class

I'm not sure whether to laugh or feel sorry for you, maybe both?

I agree it's a bit sad when it's over the top. I don't think it is though. A lot of our chants involve United so take them away and you limit the chances of a decent atmosphere.

There are a LOT of seats available on the planner in both the first and second tiers I wouldnt be surprised if it was below 35k tomorrow night.

On a seperate note i hope me and my lad arent the only 2 in the 3rd tier of the East stand and some other people decide to turn up.
