So, so sad to hear about this last night. I'll be extremely grateful for the pleasure his posts used to give me alone.

It's a great loss to many, many people but he'll always be remembered.

Long time lurked and former brief poster here, I felt compelled to re-register to offer my condolences.

Really, really sad news about GSC / Sam. I look at the forum every day and will miss his posts / wit and humour terribly, such a funny guy and I have been in stitches laughing at some of his stories.

A real Bluemoon legend and from reading through this thread a top bloke too.

I think someone put on the forum last week that a test of whether you would like someone, would be whether you could have a crack over a pint with them. It seems that many of you were lucky enough to have done this with Sam.

Keep the memories and tributes coming people.

RIP Sam. Thoughts are with your family and friends at this sad time.

Sam was my best mate and the reason I'm a City fan. I was by his side last night as he passed away.

I popped on hear this morning cause someone mentioned there were some kind words going about. I'm astounded. I had no idea there would be so many people on here saying such great things about him. So thanks to everyone who has posted.

I felt the need to put up my thoughts today too, they are here if you feel like reading them.

Hi mate, I had the pleasure of meeting Sam and he was a great man. The funniest poster ever to grace bluemoon. He will be sadly missed.

What was wrong with him? LongsightM13 on here sold him a ticket to the roses and he was complaining of a bad cough. I saw on twitter last night some tweets from Sunday saying he was fighting for his life. I regret not seeing this and had no clue he was ill.

If you need anything, everyone on here will be happy to help.

I was thinking the same thing.

I have let my buttons be pushed far too easily on here of late, due to family worries and let it spill onto here.

Truth be known, i would be kind of lost without BM and you lot, my one real connection back to Manchester and City.

So sad that it has taken such a tragic loss for me to realise that.

No doubt i will get 'GAY" thrown at me, but that's the way it is. Take care, Blues.
