But very much like me, he punched well above his weight with the ladies.

I fell asleep quite early last night and been busy all day, it wasn't until Longsight13 told me on Twitter earlier than Sam had passed away, and then I read this thread.

I'm more of an Off Topic (or Cellar) lurker than poster so I can't say I had too many interactions with GSC. But I can say there's been countless times when I've sneakily been reading Bluemoon at work, and had to leave the office before I burst out laughing at some of his posts.

I've been on this forum for many years now, and similarly to when SCARBLU passed away those years ago I feel a lot of shock and sadness, especially to those that knew him. It's remarkable how someone that you've never met can have such an affect on you.

Bluemoon has lost one of it's best. People are signing up to Bluemoon just to post their condolences. If that doesn't say what a great character and person Sam was, then I don't know what does.

Gutted I never knowingly met you.

Sam had a quality with women that I felt (rightly or wrongly) I could very much relate to.
