i can't understand why people want this guy so much? it seems to me that it is more about rubbing the rags noses in it rather than what we need.
i read somewhere that in the last 5 years he has only averaged about 27 games per year, given the money we would have to pay plus the wages i would expect him to start 80% of the premier league games plus all the champions league games.
if ever there was a guy living off a reputation this is him, quality when fit but not fit enough and not for us.
i'll pass.

I don't think the quality of Sneijder can be disputed really? The only people that don't appear to mate the lad are some of the posters on here
He pretty much took Holland to the final of the World Cup on his own, he was Mourinhos star during that Inter trip to European champions. Okay he had a poor season last year, but so did quite a few players post world cup,
People say about his percieved lack of games per season. That is fine by me to be honest, We do need his quality against the bigger teams and so it allows him to be rotated and dropped some of the time.
If we have a chance to get him then I will welcome him in. We need that extra creative quality to release the burden on Silva.

Maybe we've started our own eugenics programme. If we mate him with Balotelli we get someone who can pass but moans a lot.
