As far as attacking midfield options go, maybe greed is the best policy and we should get them both - Sneijder and Nasri - and worry about giving everyone game time later. The lack of creativity to compliment Silva was painful, our only alternatives are extremely talented but extremely inexperienced green boys (Suarez, Assulin, Roman).

We need players who can hold the ball under pressure and can punish an opponent's over agression.

Is Sneijder that player? Haven't seem him regularly enough to know.

Mancini needs to speak to Tevez. We need to know for sure we can get him of the payroll or if he will commit to us.The Sniejder deal is dependent on this and is the reason Mancini denied it.

This ^^

My take on it, is that City will have talks with Tevez tomorrow, which could mean he joins Inter on a 6 month loan deal, before allowing him a move to Corinthians in January, but I guess this is all dependant on what Tevez wants to do with his future, until this is solved I doubt we'll be signing Sneijder... then again I could be wrong on all accounts.

We won't be signing Sneijder full stop, its not dependent on Tevez, Nasri, transfer fee, wages or anything else. Hes not coming to us.

Tolmie really has given you the scoop that this is on hasn't he dam?? You're adamant like you're previous posts that we are right in the mix for wes!!

Tolm contacted me this morning with some fantastic info that filled in the gaps/nervousness that I developed last night. As always, he's 5 steps ahead of the rest of us, and I tried to post some of this on here.

I am now at the point where I KNOW that we are in for him. Whether we can do a deal or not is conjecture, which we can all argue about, but we are definitely in for him. I'm not sure how else that I can convince others. Danamy knows his stuff, and hopefully he can confirm that we are in for him at least. Listen to this man.

I'm 10/10 that we are in for him. Whether the deal is there is all he said/she said, and it's in the air. All that I can say is that in my he said/she said info, it matches up. Decide for yourselves really on where he will go, but we're in for him.

Either way Tolm, if you're reading, please come back mate. You're better and much more informed at this shit than I am

you seem supremely confident with the gaps tolmie has filled in, so share the news?? ;)

As an aside, fbloke intimating 4 more to come, 2 mids, 1 winger and a striker on twitter.

Yes, many think he is a wum but he gets decent info and i've won a few bob in the past with his info.

Interesting.

Classy young talent but his agent said outright he wouldn't come despite being honoured, because he wants first team football at this stage. Unless we loaned him...
