All this in the past few days has reduced the odds to some quite tempting levels...

1/5 for May to be PM on June 10th seems pretty good.

There's no such thing as shy Labour voters right?

Chance would be a fine thing. At least they would shut up for 5 minutes then :-)

People want truth in politics and yet there are millions who are going to vote Labour on the basis of a whole load of promises all of which simply won't be deliverable - of course these people are hopeful. The Tories are trying to tell it how it is and the people get apoplectic.

£10 minimum wage, no student tuition fees, free childcare, no tax rises (other than for those who already pay the most and business) more wages for teachers, nurses, etc, more money for the NHS, schools, public services more generally.

Wow, it sounds bloody brilliant if you don't have the mental capacity to understand how it will all be funded. Of course their f'kin hopeful!

Like chippy there's a morbid part of me that wants Labour to get elected just to nail this socialist utopia once and for all, but then common sense kicks in when I think of the long term damage this would do and the fact that my little boy will have to pick up the tab Labour leave behind in the future.

They would just claim they weren't socialist enough, you can't reason with cults and their cultish behaviour

Two words

Socialist ideals

One word

Bollox

If it was so good why would there not be happy utopian left wing societies all over the world. There isn't because it's ideals . In the real world it does not work. Even Russia and china have abandoned it in the main and there economy has boomed as they have embraced capitalism.

North Korea are still keen though....

Great answer you now just need to find the question to fit.
We were talking about something entirely different.

It's been asked why go to gateshead when it has a majority? thats the local Uni, those 10000 will be from all over their votes will count in different constituencies.

If the youth vote comes out in force it could happen.

I actually think he should have done more of this type of thing. He's great with a big crowd, influential, inspiring and a real man of the people. He's not being given a fair ride by the press so get these on live TV, have people filming it and uploading it to social media and get them singing his name. I've never seen this type of thing in British politics before and it's truly inspiring and effective.
