He has principles and if the electorate don't like them he has others.

2 years ago he proposed a further 10% cut in police budget. Election message "Tories cut 20000 police"
All his career he has argued for no nukes and claimed to be a pacifist. Election message "Renew Trident"
2 years ago Shoot to kill is wrong. Election message "whatever needs to be done"

and yet the left have attempted to paint May as making U-turns or lying.

The Hypocrisy is strong in this Labour campaign.

And the idiot Abbott is on good form again today. Funny that she's now gone sick so won't be on the woman hour debate. Fucking lol!

I had missed this.

What an absolutely top post. Corbyn, principles? My arse.

Wrong side of the argument for 40 years, and now there's an upturn in popularity and he's the new messiah. I am not sure who's more shallow; him or the droves of Labour supporters who can't stand his guts but who are now saying he's marvellous.

Never voted for the Tories before. But my main concerns are Brexit and national security.Could never vote for the Abbott and Corbstello show.

I think you are mistaken. If the minimum wage did not exist, employers would have to pay the market rate, or no-one would work for them. Who knows what rate that might be; it could be £8/hour.

And you totally ignore the employers who are volutarily paying more than the minimum wage anyway. Perhaps if you tried to put your bitterness aside, it may not cloud your thinking so much.

Anyway, I am not opposed to a minimum wage; it just needs to be at an affordable level such that it doesn't drive up unemployment and put companies out of business.
How to contradict yourself in three easy sentences.

If you honestly believe the British govt and it's lickspittles weren't in dialogue with the IRA long before the peace process came out into the open you're frankly a bit mad.

If it's alright for mrs thatcher, mr Callaghan, major and Blair to do so, never mind several american presidents, in fact every arm of the state to do so why does it offend you so much when a man who just happens to believe in caring for the weakest in our society by asking for the most fortunate to provide a tiny tiny bit of their excess cash does so?

It's either wrong in which case I imagine you'll be voting for none of the major parties or it's not wrong in which case step away from the keyboard and leave the man alone.
Of course there will have been some dialogue - but that people feel this desperate need to try and dress up the succour that Corbyn offered to the IRA as part of any peace process is frankly a shameful tarnishing of the actual peace process

In my opinion - the more people on here continue to do that the more shame they bring on themselves

We're completely ***ed.

Labour Fibs

"We are going to spend more on absolutely everything and 95% of you won't have to pay a penny".
"I am going to keep this country safe by supporting all the legislation I've opposed for the past 40 years".
"We are going to stay in the European Market and remain part of the Customs Union whilst not agreeing to free movenment of labour, nor any EU legislation".
"I don't wish to nationalise the banks anymore"
"Putting up corporation tax will grow businesses and attract inward investment".

Need i go on? Happy to if you wish?

The Tories plan £32,000,000 more cuts to Counter Terrorism. Not sure this is great for national security!
