okey doke thanks for your answer.

my opinion is that when you level out the tax generated by immigrants with the drain they put on the NHS, there is a tiny benefit/drain on the system (depending on whose figures you believe!!) in comparison to the money involved in bureaucracy, management tiers and bungled IT/tech upgrades (partly due to bad tendering processes).

Yeah, I see your point. There are some pretty fine arguments between a lot of policies I suppose.

Oh, don't get me started on bungled IT systems I've seen first hand that shit go down in individual local councils irrespective of what party has control, nevermind central government.
But thats the public sector for you per se!

It would be utter madness if they held a contested leadership contest if they are still in power. If they could agree on a single candidate and simply annoint them they might but I don't think they have anyone who has that level of support
Fair point be who would carry out the process? Would they have to fly the pope in or could a local parish priest conduct the ceremony?

I run a small business and we are hanging in by a thread .I absolutely dread Diane Abbott being in charge of anything and think we will be royally stuffed if Jezzer and his mates win. Simple as that for me .

I know that I have already replied to this post - but just revisiting it to request your help with my confidence in the people that post on Bluemoon - a horrible thought came to mind...........

You were not really seeking to draw some favourable comparison between Nelson Mandela and Jeremy Corbyn were you?

Please just put my mind at rest and confirm that you were not suggesting that the actions of Jeremy Corbyn were akin to those of Nelson Mandela - please do.

I merely asked a question regarding two different politicians who have somewhat checkered histories.

Your mind seems to run off at all possible tangents based on your responses to my question.

Offering any opinion on here is completely futile. Everyone has their own political viewpoint and they aren't going to be changed on here. Everyone has their own stats/links/graphs to "validate" their viewpoint.

At the end of the day, we'll all vote the way our conscience and life experience has taught us.

Some will be happy on Friday, others not. That's politics. That's life.

I really like jezza, but Abbott is a total liability. Torys dangerous for the country. Jezza needed to tell Abbott to go home and lock all the doors last week
