United still a commercial revenue machine regardless of league position. They still generate 650m a season in revenue.

You're telling me! I don't particularly get it. But it probably says not many other clubs are interested and he wants a step up from the erdervise. He currently isn't playing for Netherlands- maybe there is something in that and increasing his profile.
