General transfer rumours

You'd best go have a word with Mr. Coates then, or whoever runs your lot these days.

So no word on the my actual point then? Sigh...instead, this always seems to be the "go to" response. 500 times and counting lol.

Shame.

Listen, you idiot, if the club decides to give Navas away, then I am fine with that, you know why?

IT'S NOT MY MONEY !!!!!!!!

Its your Club though right>?

What has that got to do with city fans having a(correct)opinion that money matters in the age of FFP? Using caps doesn't make your point right. No its not anyone else's money, but the club has a finite amount of money to spend because of the FFP rules, and if there are rumors that certain players might be given away, sold cheap, or in the case of yaya maybe even paid off...its not good at all, and people have a right to voice this opinion. Thankfully it looks like city are trying to get value from bony, with the stones deal for example.

Maybe that hypothetical 6-8m for navas would mean having more available funds for players that are actually needed, and maybe an extra signing is missed because of this deficit in funds? If it has potential knock on effects in the market then it warrants discussion from the fans. Bottom line is that its club money and that matters to club fans. Like anything anyone invests into in life...the financials matter.

Your willingness to so easily throw your insults doesn't help your argument.

How are Sjoke doing these days?

Most clubs let players leave for free when their contracts run out dont they??

Of course navas' contract runs until 2017, so if he stays this year he could leave next summer for free. I imagine that is why a lot of clubs insert the "with the option of an extra year" into contracts...to specifically try and avoid a player going for nothing.
