Can anyone explain the madness that Chelsea is at the minute? Even Poch isnt happy with the size of the squad yet they keep buying?

Think they going to keep spending and see what happens when they fail ffp! They'll admit it and make excuses to why and take the punishment! Be interested in what the punishment will be seeing the amount they spent and knowing they are going to break ffp keep on spending! A fine only will see other clubs not give a toss about ffp!

Not sure I agree about squad size last time I looked they had shifted every player you had heard of and left themselves with unknowns and no midfield

Undoubtedly. He saved less shots than expected last season by a decent margin. He is too spirited and not calm enough. Slightly too chaotic, and worse at everything than Raya.

I think for a possession based team a keepers "plot" will look smaller. You can see that Ortega is larger and admittedly he is great but the team in front of him is often quite different to the one in front of Ederson so its hard to compare them.

It's quite a strange situation. They've sold a lot but doesn't seem nearly enough to move the needle as they keep buying. As a loss making enterprise anyway, it's hard to understand how they will break even to the extent that they will not fall foul of FFP.

Unless they sell another 200m of players they will fail ffp! In the premier rules what is the punishment for failure off ffp? Is it a fine a sqaud reduction a points deduction?

For me for every 5m you fail ffp the only punishment should be a reduction in your squad! So every 5m you fail ffp you should lose 2 players from that 25! A fine is nothing and points deduction is wrong for me!

Chelsea will run out of shirt numbers at this rate, it's absolutely ridiculous. Every transfer story I read has some sort of link to them. And without any European football, how are they gonna provide all these lads with enough game time? Just seems like another disaster waiting to happen.
