Mourinho on Pogba: “I think he's going to be here next season. That's my feeling. I can give the guarantee that I don't want him to leave. I can give you the guarantee that the club doesn't want to sell him. I can give the guarantee that I don't want him to leave.” #mufc [MU]

Liverpool 'face competition from Barcelona' in race to sign Napoli star Jorginho
Manchester City are also keen after the Italy international's stunning performances inspired the Partenopei to challenge Juventus for the title

Liverpool will face competition from Barcelona for Napoli star Jorginho.

The Reds had targeted the Italy international, along with Manchester City, but Sky Sport Italia now believe the Blaugrana have entered the race.

Barcelona see Jorginho as a potential replacement for Andres Iniesta, who is set to leave the Nou Camp after 22 years at the club.

Arthur Melo is set to arrive from Gremio, but Ernesto Valverde remains keen to bolster his midfield options.

A potential €40m price tag has been discussed, making the 26-year-old an attractive option after starring at the centre of Maurizio Sarri's side that pushed Juventus close for the Scudetto.

Atletico Madrid reportedly want to re-sign former striker Sergio Aguero from Manchester City. It's the gossip: https://bbc.in/2wvLDND
Now would be the right time if we can get the money and secure another top striker.

Dybala being my choice.

Kun irreplaceable

Is any player irreplaceable - IMO no
Do I hope he stays - yes
Would I be surprised if he was sold this window - again IMO no. There is a point when a club has to decide to cash in whilst there remains good residual value or risk a player running down a contract and getting zero for them. I know some will say we would be happy for him to run down his contract and in Kuns case I could see why, but the bean counters may think otherwise.

Wasn’t there a talk that Soriano did saying that you have to know from a business point of view when it’s the right time to sell? I think it was possibly when he was talking about ronaldinho and how they should have sold him sooner

Possibly, I don't know, but it does make good commercial sense. Maybe Kun will be the exception to the rule and allowed to run his contract down

Still is.
Not for me.

Clear last season in the big games his legs had gone.

Anfield away was a notable game.

Pep started Jesus in the big games when they were both available.

Love Aguero but we need to move on now.
