General transfer rumours

Foster would be an excellent back up keeper - a signing miles ahead of JFE.

But we already have four homegrown players in the squad so his signing doesn't free up a foreign place unless we lose one.

Bravo I’d assume.

Bravo isn't home grown so that changes nothing.

We have Delph, Sterling, Walker and Stones in the homegrown slots. So adding Foster just takes up Bravo's old foreign spot and lets face it we could be using that a lot better.

He's a good keeper, but he doesn't play as a sweeper, was a rag, is pretty old even for a keeper and doesn't really help us from a squad perspective so I really don't think this deal makes an ounce of sense. If we're desperate to bin Clownio then wait till January and stick Muric in when he's finally club trained.

Disagree. All he does is wave his hands around and make the opposition laugh. Clownio fits that joker perfectly.

Still don't want Foster.
Its a difficult one because at the end of the day everyone on this forum has a right to their own opinion and rightfully so.
However, insulting a member of your own team, Ive always found to be slightly Raggish type behavior.
City have enough to contend with from the media taking every conceivable opportunity to attack our players or disrupt their form.
Yet City fans keep perpetuating the medias propaganda machine by attacking from within.
Listen Im am one of the first to call out silva, de bruyne etc if there having a bad game or run of form, I dont believe in being precious about our players.
However, I do believe that when criticism extends to piss take nick names about current players, that travels much further than just being about the player.
Comments like that all during Bravo's his first season and some of the last were seized upon by the media to try to disrupt Pep and demean the club, in terms of it decision making and recruitment.
You may well be right on your assessment of Bravo, all im saying is lets not make it easy for the bastards to attack or disrupt what we want to achieve and feel as a club and fan base, particularly when one or two of our players may undoubtedly have a dip in form next season.

Except when being the major reason we won a trophy.

A part of the team yes, a major reason no.

Mate lets not make it easy for bastards? They don't need me to slate city players, especially when they're actually bad. And don't tell me how to support my team or call me a rag. I remember back in the day when the likes of Jamie fucking Pollock wore our shirt and ripping the piss out of them was perfectly natural, in fact I'd say it got a lot of us through the shitter days. So if you want to be a special snowflake and keep Claudio warm in a little fucking safe space where we ignore his mistakes and just blow compliments and sunshine up his arse then you're welcome to, but I think he's a big boy on 100 grand a week and he should be able to take a pisstake nickname or two thank you very much.

He he he youre legend mate, legend.
The fact that you cant see the abject hypocrisy and irony in being sensitive and upset about me referring to your comments as raggish, whilst justifying your own name calling, of one of our own referring to Bravo as Clownio, is absolute legend.
Look you are fundamentally right in one significant respect I or no other person can tell you what to think, feel or how to act when it comes to city.
Thats you're right Shak and in no way can be impinged upon. So I should really apologize if you felt this to be the case.
However, conversely, I dont think you can have an issue with me using a pejorative term to describe my view of your behavior when you are using a pejorative names to belittle one of our own, and when the lad is fucked, down and arguably out of the door soon
You cant have it both ways.
When it comes to defending our own mate expect to be challenged by me every single time, that not me telling you how to think but simply if I think its called for, countering your point of view. I may well agree with you at times but we will see.
It could be worse I could have resorted to further name calling like you calling me a snowflake by referring to you as Shakraggish or Raggishshak, because I know you can take it, not being a snowflake and all, but I wont, not yet anyway.

Ps In relation to your reference to Pollock, i'll trump you with Laurent Charvet
