Swansea have been quoted as saying £25 million or nothing doing apparently.
Quite a reasonable fee for a player who is the current captain of his country, in my view. (Unlike Everton's excessive valuation of Stones, who, currently, can't get into the England side ahead of SMALLING!!! FFS)
Their new owner (and fans) have been boasting constantly, since the takeover, that they can now compete successfully with anyone in the world for top players.
I suggest the the time has come for them to "Put up or shut up" and either, A). Make Stones an improved contract offer he can't refuse, (In which case we piss off). Or B). Snap up Williams, for the relitivly low fee that Swansea are asking and make double the profit on Stones.
