I did put a '+' at the end tbf :-)You are wrong Bony is never worth 20m more like 25 in todays market.

I shudder every time I see Kolorov at CB. We don't look strong there without Kompany. Pleased Adarabioyo is getting plenty of games. From reddit the other day....
"The starting lineup was Hart, Zabaleta, Kolorov, Adarabioyo, Clichy, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, Silva, Sterling, Nolito and Aguero.
....everyone played some part of the match apart from Caballero, Gundogan, Kompany, Otamendi, Sane, De Bruyne & Bony, who were all missing/rested.
The youngsters involved were Gunn, Zinchenko, Angelino, Maffeo, Aleix Garcia, Adarabioyo and Zuculini."
So missing who would be in the 1st team last year were Bony, Nasri, Wily, Fernando, Sagna, Mangala, Otamendi , Kompany, DeBruyne and Iheanacho.
I'd guess Wily and Bony are going for sure. Maybe Nasri and Fernando. Hard to say about Mangala as he's just back so it'd have been too soon for him anyway.

It's a strange one, him continually playing there. Whether Pep is just putting him in to keep him fit before he moves on, or actually trying to make something out of him is the question.
If he was staying & playing fullback, you would have thought we would see playing him there by now. But then again, how does a fullback who can only kick with one foot, work, in a Pep team ?
All very interesting & bizarre.
Maybe as part of a back 3? Even so, you would think the Mangler or Clichy would be better there. It's a strange one, him continually playing there. Whether Pep is just putting him in to keep him fit before he moves on, or actually trying to make something out of him is the question.

Anything that cuts down the necessity of Kolarov having to run quickly can't be a bad thing. He has been playing in a 3 in the games I watched, but it's still 'why' ?
Unless Pep is trying to get the defenders used to someone dropping bollocks & being out of position all the time, for when we sign Stones. (joking, only joking)
