General transfer rumours

Which is fine if true, on the other hand it may just be after a almost a year of not training properly due to a freak injury, it's not that he's fat, but not fit and strong enough and he needs to build that up. Still it's always good to get angry about something we don't know the facts on.

Doesn't look fat on any videos that have been posted as someone else has said probably not up to speed fitness wise

He was injured for 6 months not a year, and he returned to training with the rest of the squad in February. Before that he was in the gym doing recovery work to recover fitness.

So he had 4 months of first team training (almost as long as he was out for) last season.

He was deemed fit enough to play at the beginning of April - so he had 2 full months of training while being completely fit.

And he's now been in training with Guardiola for 5 weeks.

On top of that, Guardiola has literally said he's not allowed to play because he's overweight

"Samir arrived back a little overweight but he is much, much better now"

"He has fought a lot during these weeks but he is a little bit overweight."

"The players on the pitch are fit, their weight is in the right place to run 90 minutes

I appreciate people want to see the best in Nasri, but he's training on his own because he's overweight, not because he's not fully recovered from an injury he was fully recovered from 6 months ago

It's a strange one, him continually playing there. Whether Pep is just putting him in to keep him fit before he moves on, or actually trying to make something out of him is the question.

If he was staying & playing fullback, you would have thought we would see playing him there by now. But then again, how does a fullback who can only kick with one foot, work, in a Pep team ?

All very interesting & bizarre.
It shows he wants a ball playing CB but
Kolorov doesn't sense danger as a defender and that worries me. Glad Tosin seems to have played himself into contention.

From the pictures not overweight by most people's standards, but didn't Pep make reference to weight/injury ratio. I hope he hasn't been discarded without being given a chance to shine.
