General transfer rumours

I understand the need to break quickly into the elite and top 4 , but still the Bony , and to a lesser extent Mangala signings still puzzle me.

One word. Pellers. Those were his buys 100% IMO. We were stuck waiting on the manager we wanted. We had to give the guy who was standing in for him his players. At the same time we were buying Pep players (Sterling). Again, we were making sacrifices to get to where we wanted to go. Our goal is to be the best...if that means gambling on Mangala and Bony to keep Pellers happy while we wait for Pep so be it. When we reach our ultimate goal, we will be so profitable that the money we all agree is being wasted hear or there will look like nothing. Again...my opinion.

More bullshit.

My opinion is bullshit? What the fuck is your problem?
Notyoue opinion persee. The general belief that some players are Pelegrini's and others are Pep's. It's been going around here for a while. It simply holds no water.

But you are right. It's an opinion you are free to hold. Didn't mean to insult you personally.

That actually reads like a Dax post. Cheers.

Will you admit that some of the players we have signed over the past few windows look very much like Pep players and others look very much like players that would never play under Pep?

Manchester City and Barcelona have made Arsenal right-back Héctor Bellerín (21) their top priority in terms of future recruitment. [Mail]
Both City and Barca asked about Bellerín this summer and will return for him in January, although next summer is more realistic. [Mail]
Guardiola was a hero for Bellerín but more significant is the presence of Mikel Arteta, who has a close relationship with Bellerín. [Mail

would be fantastic signing next summer but can't see Arsenal selling, think he has 2 years left still next summer so no pressure. Would require Bellerin to cause a fuss in order to leave.

@City_Watch I'm told Arsenal's response to City's approach for Bellerin consisted of two words - and the second one was off....19 Sep 2016, 4:06 pm
