Rice is a £100 Million player and clearly better than McTominay. But imo, McTominay, Ward-prowse and Gallagher for Rice, imo makes West Ham stronger. I think McTominay will do well for West Ham. I think the biggest gamble out of those 3 will be Gallagher.Lol not sure anybody on the planet can offer as much to West Ham as Rice did. Let alone Scott McT LOL. Non sense.
Yep. I think he's been deluded for years he'd get that big money big club move. I never liked his on field attitude like he was better than everyone. Hope he likes kebabs.About his level. A league where he can feel dominant.
Not me. I’ve always said he did well in the cups. Just couldn’t get going in the Prem.Harsh to call him shit.
Pep said the papers calling him ‘Barca’s keeper’ were wrong adding “he was their no.2.”He started 32 league games for them in 2015/16 before we signed him. He just didn’t play in the Champions League
Well maybe yeah. Don't think that was the statement. That makes them better but doesn't really make them better. As in they're still not good enough to finish top 4. Keeping Rice and adding some of these talents around him may have offered that opportunity in the next couple seasons.Rice is a £100 Million player and clearly better than McTominay. There's no guarantee the team Rice has moved to, will finish top 4.Well maybe yeah. Don't think that was the statement. That makes them better but doesn't really make them better. Would be as shocking as us not finishing top 4 this season. Very small gap between Assnal and City squads right now, if any. There's no guarantee the team Rice has moved to, will finish top 4.
Those that believe this may be in for a rude awakening come the run in of the upcoming season. We have a better XI which is why we'll have the edge in H2H one off matchups but it's not by a huge margin with the addition of Rice. They now have a bigger squad, will have played less games last season, and will be hungrier than ever after getting a taste of success. The only outgoings being deadwood. Incomings of Timber, Havertz, and Rice gives them three new unique profiles while bolstering depth. I feel as if we're in for a hell of a title race. There is still quite a difference.
I think Havertz struggled because of the Chelsea system (or lack thereof). I fear he could be class if played properly. But yeah we shall see.I actually got sick of hearing how Xhaka and Partey were two of the main reasons why the Arse were so good early on in the season, and how disastrous it was when Partey was injured. Maybe that was just bullshit after all. So it boils down to the difference that Rice and Havertz make over those two. Well to be honest I think Havertz is shite and weakens them. My opinion, yours obviously differs but time will tell.

It is Villa we are talking about, not City.Haven't seen much of Diaby to comment but never been overly convinced by the other two.
Bargain that.
Yeah, when he was at susussoloWeren't we linked with him before he moved to Juve ?
And yet neither has impressed me. Both are players that flatter to deceive. Could turn out well for Villa, might stink the place out. Not convinced either way yet.It is Villa we are talking about, not City.
Pau Torres has won the Europa League (was their best player in the final) and Tielemans has won the FA Cup with Leicester scoring a 30 yard winning goal.
Both players have pedigree.
