Surely Athletico should just sell at whatever price they can get rather than keep loaning him out

And Bayern are trying to offload. He's another option and although Barca are interested, maybe the Vinnie/City connection could work in our favour? Especially if the player fancies a shot a the Premier League as he's 29 now, so this could be a good and only opportunity?
 
Potentially works for us if we leave it last minute and also express to the agent market we are not desperate and willing to go into next season as is..
