United he's open to moving to another club this summer, per @fabriziorom


The striker has not travelled with the Newcastle squad on their pre-season tour of the Far East.

World Cup year next season. Isak will stay if they don’t want to sell. If Newcastle is willing to sell to Liverpool that’s an absolute cuck move.

Unfortunately they have done well and made some very smart moves regarding planning their squad. Their only weakness currently is lack of cover for VvD and Konate when injured.

Well they are just about to spend 400m to refresh their squad after having won the league. I am sure they will get a new CB or two to cover their CBs.

I'm sure they're doing all they can, but the quality in the market isn't the best at the moment. Viana can't do anymore than he's doing at the moment. We've brought in 3 quality players for less than they'll bring Isak in for. All we need is a RB and a GK if Ederson/Ortega move on.

Our net spend has been very good

They are spending insane money if they get Isak as well yet we ruined football.

Cannot stand them or there fans

Hope they fail it is possible they seem to be focusing on attack and big buys.

The problem Newcastle have is they know he won't renew a deal because they themselves cannot afford to put him on 300k a week with PSR hanging over them, meaning he will only have 2 years left after next season.

He will hold all the cards then.

They have to sell now to get the money they think he is worth, albeit with him effectively going on strike and Newcastle in desperate need of a cash injection on their books for PSR, he will likely go for not much more than the rumoured £120m Liverpool have apparently offered.

PSR has absolutely bottle necked Newcastle this summer, stunting them form spending money they can afford to spent and upgrade the contracts of players who deserve to be paid more than they are currently on.

Liverpool have played the vulture and gone all in.

What PSR problems? This year clears them of the huge window where they bought Isak amongst others in that £200m+ spend, they have money to spend.

They've secured CL revenue again, they've got a big stadium, they'll be securing new commercial deals to reflect their elevated status, they'll have money to spend and give their best players improved contracts. They're unlikely to go spunking £200m in a window again as it will restrict them over the next years but they arent penny pinching.
