However due to our success and individual progress our wages bill has escalated following renegotiation of some player contracts.
Keeping existing star players may be a problem unless we improve the income side of the business.

Change comes organically. There is a limit to the numbers we can employ and once Yaya's place is taken, then that number is reached. The way I see it developing is that any players we keep beyond their current contract are those with at least one more World Cup beyond this year to focus on. This alone will keep the squad looking forward to enhancing their reputations, whereas players who are beyond 30 will not have that ambition to look forward to and though I expect them to continue to put shift in for the club, when their contracts come to an end then so will their City careers. Pep seems intent, wisely, on bringing in young talent and developing them and I would expect them initially to be paid less than the seniors who they replace.
 
Well for Mbappe name to be linked to other clubs like it is, someone must have been given the heads up that it's possible .No team is gonna just hope that ffp bites PSG and base a transfer on that .

Pogba and Sanchez hasn't really worked out for the rags so I am sure they would happily offload them to get this deal done.
