No matter what transfer fee we bid, Woodward would offer more. Why not?
£38m and 3 x £7m conditional additions 1, was ballon d'or. 1 was 25 French caps, and the other I think was number of games or goals for United. So think he met the last one. So far he's cost them about £45m at the age of 20.I think I read that Martial’s overall transfer fee was £58m. Whilst I think he’s a good prospect, that’s a huge fee for someone who has been pretty much a flop for United.
Even though I believe that both he and Rashford are good players, they seem to be rather overhyped (especially Rashford) amongst the football community. Perhaps I am showing my lack of football knowledge here but I don’t see either of them as better players than Iheanacho.
Picture the mib’s frantically looking for rashfords house to “do a rooney” when we almost got him ;)A former player from the Mercer era, now club ambassador, told me that City have held high level talks about making an approach for Rashford.
That's literally all I know on the situation, but I certainly found it interesting.
He's clearly being stifled at United, and I can see him being in demand should he have a decent World Cup
why on earth would we want him.A former player from the Mercer era, now club ambassador, told me that City have held high level talks about making an approach for Rashford.

Maybe because a good manager would get a better tune out of himwhy on earth would we want him.
I agree. He’s raw but clearly talented.Maybe because a good manager would get a better tune out of him
