You would assume Chelsea would be wary of buying another player off Everton after they got stung with buying Ross Barkley.

Was Everton where Rodwell started his career too.
Excepting Rooney, they have had a few like Davies and the " fox in the box " that went to Arsensl who look good when they are young but just done seem to progress.
I don't see much improvement in Calvert Leiwin either.
