Quite a bold strategy to target so many Serie A players, given they have tended to struggle when switching from Italy to England, with only a few notable exceptions.

Mate, Chiesa is on another level to the others mentioned. If Newcastle pull that off, they'll pose a serious danger to every club with top four ambitions.
However, like the Rags they're on the FFP limits, so they need to sell before they can buy, OR bring in some major sponsorship.
The Red Top Mafia aren't happy & are mincing the Geordies with their beady, bloodshot eyeballs! 8-/
Hasn’t Chiesa had serious injury problems over the past year or so?
I don’t follow Serie A but recall him making an impression at the Euros.

Chiesa had a serious cruciate knee injury during the 21/22 season which kept him out for 9 months.
He worked himself back to fitness, but had several muscle strain niggles & knee tendon soreness which cumatively kept him out for 2 weeks throughout the 22/23 season.
He just needs a good rest, a good pre-season & he'll smash it! Juvé were careful with him last season & rested him whenever possible after nearly a year out.
However, when he played, he transformed them. He's Juvé's talisman & they'll be loathed to lose him, hence why Chiesa's on my personal wishlist for City.
He's a brilliant winger who drives Juvé & Italy forward, & who can create, score & lift his team's performance levels just by being on the pitch.
Juvé are a totally different team with & without him, he's that influential.

I am not convinced his recent injury issues haven’t impacted his play. And I want to see him perform at a high level in the Premier League.
He has had very few appearances against Premier League opposition and hasn’t looked exceptional in those limited appearances.
Either way, my general point was about targeting so many Serie A players at once being a very risky strategy.

After 9 months out with a serious knee injury, it's understandable it'll take Chiesa time to get up to speed, & that's why Juvé have carefully nursed him back instead of throwing him in at the deep end once he was match fit.
He had a few niggles, but nothing too serious. The games I saw him in last season, he was excellent & I saw little evidence of a loss of pace or mobility.
The telling games were three where he came on as substitute. He immediately lifted Juvé & changed the course of the games. That was just because of his mere presence, let alone what he brought to Juvé as a top player.
Just my honest, considered opinion from what I've seen of him...

If they're after Hernandez then it must mean they aren't getting Tierney from Arsenal. Thats a hit to their transfer budget
If they can pull off the Chiesa signing alongside Chiesa then they massively improve as a team. Obviously the players will need to adapt but they are both top class. Good ages for the 2 of them as well.
