General transfer rumours

What year was it that city won the league without a recognised striker.
Pep had us play the false 9 for a season.

You missed the point slightly but get the intention!

Can't remember or see where I mentioned Grealish?? ....and you have no idea what my opinion of him is ;)
Stick to using stats for your Play station/ xbox....so many variables, they are pointless.
You were saying Diaz was average. We were talking about our youth players and them being blocked by inferior players we signed. No idea about his performance on playstation a bit to old to have played that.

He has won the league in spajn, italy and england plus the champions league. He is 25 there are few players that match that.

Jesus scored 14 goals and aguero got 6.

A UTD fan has said to me we have never won a title without strikers. I'm certain we went pretty much a full season without a recognised striker.
Jesus mostly played out wide.

Monaco want Jordan Henderson? wtf like he gets in over zakaria or camara

Look at Phil Nevilles medals.......or maybe you think he was the 'Bury Messi' all the best teams contain some or a couple of average players (imo Diaz is just that).....and in Nevilles case, a shite one ;)

We did it in 21/22 as well, Phil played a lot as the false 9. Mahrez, Kev, Raz and Phil all scored more that year than Jesus (who was supposedly our striker that year)

He's an OK player but I think the first £54m bid that Brighton turned down is definitely a fair price for him, particularly at his age (27) At £90m (well, it's reportedly £65m up front with the rest in bonuses/add-ons), I'd drive him to the airport myself.

An OK player? Hmm, the stats showed he was one of the best in the world. E.g. this university educated, who has published two books in recent years, was the best ball carrier in the world ranked above Vinicius Jr.
Pep called him a world class winger. I reckon the player who is normally marked by two defenders throughout the match, and makes solid contribution to defence, is superior to our wide players as a whole package.

Don’t think it has been mentioned on here but Xavi Simons loan deal from PSG to RB Leipzig has been made permanent for €50m euros and €30m in potential add ons though not expected to be reached. Contract only until 2027.

Agreement that he can leave if RB not in CL next season. Either way strongly expect a sale this summer! Immediate profit for RB.

PSG agreed to sale due to buying Kvaratschelia.

Strange that they've done such a short contract for a big fee signing
