Did u say that during his 23/24 season and at Ajax too? Or is that because west Ham was horrible last season and he was playing as a Lw all season?

Did I say it whilst he was at Ajax? No because I dont watch Ajax play a lot of football.

yes I've had that opinion of him since his move to west ham. On his day hes a world beater, his day doesnt come around anywhere near often enough for a top team to be interested, hence why it's looking like hes off to Spurs.

Absolutely crazy.

Although it's funny that the Rags sold him for £15m and now Forest will be making a £40m profit on him it doesn't change the fact that he's absolutely shit.

He plays well for Forest because they are the most boring team in the league sitting deep and he has loads of space to run into on the break. Piss poor footballer against teams that have a low block as he isn't clever enough with movement and he'll also more than likely fall over the ball 90% of the time.

Guess Barca was used for more money. He is happy where he is I guess .

Can still see someone getting him for 90 within the next years

Looks like Munich but they wanna loan him first it seems. Fofana is also within the circle of Munich. They want a pure winger so Simons will 100% stay in Leipzig. No club is interested enough in him to acquire him for 70-80M.

To be fair, i think hes got potential. Still raw with little end product but at 23 there is room to improve. He has the ability to beat a man and in my opinion that is going to be an even more important attribute in the game as teams sit deeper and more compact against the best. They have lacked a wildcard to bring on from the bench when struggling. He offers it.

Whoever they brought in for the wing was also going to have to deal with always being behind saka so it probably limits who they can go after.

One thing that doesnt make sense though is the fact that arsenal dont need homegrown players but they'll definitely be paying the homegrown premium for him. seems like a needless thing to do.

Seems strange to me that Newcastle can’t attract better players, they’re in the champions league, have some good players already

I get the feeling Howe plays it safe with PL proven.

Also with PSR, the numbers they are getting quoted, it won't be long until they may have to take the 5 or 6 points deduction and fail PSR to go further.

Like Forest did.

Its not that I don't rate him, Chelsea fans actually saying he was their best winger last year, its just that that it makes no sense

Why go after a RW when Saka is there and already carrying the front line

Yea he needs depth but £50mil for depth when they don't have a CF or LW of the quality they need?
