Who is our target? Wharton? We've signed both nico and reijnders in the last 6 months, as much as I'd love to see him here as I think hes going to be elite, i think it's safe to say he wasn't a target. We're not going to sign anybody, we did our business already, the remaining window will be about selling.

Newcastle trying to seal Trafford deal. Donnarumma has no intentions of leaving. Chevalier hasn’t been linked with us once. If they’re all gone and Oretga leaves. Then what ? Ederson needs to be moved on. We’re not the only one who want a GK. Utd need to make a big signing

BREAKING: Christian Mosquera to Arsenal, here we go! Verbal agreement in place with formal steps to follow.€15m fee plus add-ons, total package under €20m. Long term deal in place, Mosquera who only wanted Arsenal.Medical ready later this week if all goes to plan.

Barça are yet to decide whether they want to proceed with Rashford deal or not. It’s not about loan or permanent. No club to club talks yet as it’s all about Barça internal decision on winger they want.Rashford still dreams of joining FCB

No doubt it will depend on how much the rags can pay Barca to take the useless ****.

If all 3 of Gundogan, Bernie and Kova stay, it'll be difficult to get Wharton, hence why I thought next season would be a good time when atleast 1 or 3 of them leave.

But if he is leaving now, we need to convince Gundogan and Kova to go, Wharton is too good to let pass us by, and perfectly fits the 433 as either the 6 or 8.

There's no reason why we can't buy him now and leave him at palace for a year or at least agree to a purchase next summer, so players we havent shifted or players that might soon be leaving arent going to be a barrier if we want it.

we've signed nico and reijnders in the last 6 months so he likely just isnt a target for us. Which i think is a mistake as i truly believe hes going to be top class.

Well looks like spurs and united are in for him.
Would be a blow to the HG rule if we lose MGW and Wharton to Spurs just because we not pushing to sell 2/3 of the non HG CM.

Yeah I agree with the poster above that we should just get him now.

Luckily being Homegrown means he doesn't count towards the non HG quota obviously.

I always preferred him more than MGW because he plays deeper, and feel Cherki already solves the attack problem.

But Wharton solves the eventual Gundogan, Kova, Bernie problem that Reijnders alone doesn't.

If it means those 3 ride the bench and we get him now, or loan back to Palace, I'm all for it.

I think all this would have been easier if Gundogan, Bernie or Kova could have been convinced to move on though.
