"Barcelona have tabled a proposal worth €70 million (~£60 million) to secure the England international from the Premier League side.

Recent reports had suggested that Newcastle United were holding out for a fee of £75 million, so there may still be some work to be done before a total agreement between the two clubs can be finalised"

I thought this was going to be a deal to Bayern, not Barcelona?

He's certainly fallen upwards with that move. Gordon really isn't all that. Works really hard and got great pace but really doesn't have the technical ability, movement or finishing to be playing for the elite imo. Not a bad player to have but not star man quality. For a skint Barca to be paying that for him, seems a bit odd, they have bigger concerns to address with limited funds and wages. Seems like they'll probably play him upfront seeing as Lewandowski is done.

Fucking hilarious that they've done that whilst they've had Rashford on loan who is desperate to stay and they could have got for less. "We'd love you to stay but we can't afford you even thpugh we're offering more for Gordin" A massive kick in the teeth for him who will probably end up back at the rags.

but yea, head scratcher, I would think that they would be after Marmoush or Osimhen

maybe they will try Yamal in F9 or put Raphinha there

I like him, always feel like he’s unfairly looked down on. Feels good to see English players abroad too. I don’t like Bellingham but I think it’s a good sign for English football that Real, Barca, Bayern all want some of our players.
