General transfer rumours

Where the hell have Barca got this money from
La Liga rules have changed, something called the 1:1 rule which benefits Barca.

"One of the biggest reasons behind the improvement is the departure of Robert Lewandowski, which reportedly frees up around €40 million from the wage structure.

That financial relief, combined with progress towards the 1:1 rule, has placed Barcelona in a significantly stronger position ahead of the market."

Barca bidding for Alvarez now
I hope so. Really do not want to see him back in England with Arsenal or anyone else. If going to Barca keeps him away from other English clubs then let's pray it happens.

Where the hell have Barca got this money from
They've spent years penny pinching whilst getting their shit together, they bring in commercial revenue comparable to anyone else, match day revenue is back up with the return to the newly renovated camp nou, they can spend money. the biggest obstacle has been the wage ratio la liga has in place, Lewandowski going would likely cover both Alvarez and Gordon's wages alone. He was on insane wages having signed on a free.

It seems there could be something going on between Saudis & Barcelona

Saudis buy Barca's surplus/unwanted players to provide them with cash

& Then Barca spend it back on them ( Newcastle ) and elsewhere

Barca and atletico seem to be the two choices for Bernardo. He would have to be mental to go to Barca after being in a changing room with Gundo for a year after he let everybody know how shit it is there compared to at City. He'd also have to be mental to sign for Atletico Madrid, even though he could fit them like a glove, he doesn't deserve to play such shit football.

Imagine how much more Pep will love him if he sees a Barca shirt on him.

Arsenal demanding up to £20m for Gabriel Jesus this summer. Enquiries from multiple clubs for 29yo striker & quoted £18-20m. Brazilian can go as free agent when contract expires in June 2027 but #AFC not considering cheap sale before then @TheAthleticFC
