People often seem to struggle distinguishing the living environment from the club environment. I’m pretty sure that the spouses prioritise the former whereas the players prioritise the latter, and given how much time they spend ar the facilities that makes sense.
 
So that's 85m e on Gordon and now 100m e on Alvarez, but can't afford Rashford. Someone over there is doing more shenanigans of the finance side again whilst La Liga on are holiday.

As far as I'm aware they are still massively in debt.
