General transfer rumours

Julian Alvarez claims he had secret agreement in February with Director of Atletico that he could go to Barca at end of season. Barca have made offer and it has been rejected by Atletico. Tension between the 2 clubs. Alavarez is prepared to publicly make his wishes known if he has to.

Alvarez is going to get a reputation for being a right little bitch. Don't sign multi-year lucrative contracts if you want out after 18 months. Why would atleti director give him a secret agreement that he can go to their league rivals? Hope he ends up there because it would be sickening to see him at arsenal but never want to see players get their wish when they're stinking out the place with unreasonable asks.

True, how can you act surprise that Atleti don’t win domestic cups, go deep in the UCL, have title races when they’ve been trophyless for 5 consecutive seasons. It was always so strange when he went there. I really don’t understand with all the money these guys have the resources at their disposal, the technology available nowadays surely they can critically analyse if they’re suited for a team and if that team will be successful. He should’ve waited for Lewa to leave first before leaving. I hope he doesn’t get the move either

He will get a reputation, and that's a shame.

To be fair once he’s at Barca can’t see him moving again anytime soon.

Got to remember that Barca are sneaky cheap twats so any deal struck behind closed doors may have been pressured to begin with and wouldn’t surprise me if they are now trying to get him for less.

Yup. His decisions and behaviour have been quite weird for a player who has won the lot. And players who believe in secret agreements tells me more about the player than their current club. Esp to the direct rival. Its like Harry Kane's dumbass brother having agreement for him to move to City. Why the fuck would Levy do that!
Are football players really this thick.

Totally agree.
Mourinho's style is outdated. Konate has just had a mare at Liverpool.
They'll finish second to a blossoming Barca, but I suspect it won't be close.
