It can be argued that it was a weak spot, but how many games was this the real reason for losing? I can think of West Ham away, although that was also a centre-half issue.

When we had Lescott, a real left-sided centre half, Clichy was generally fantastic. Hopefully Mangala can step up and keep his consistency next season.

I'd imagine Baba wouldn't be an improvement for at least a season or so anyway.
