If Stones is being quoted at 40mill then I reckon Sterling at 44mill plus add ons if we win everything is not bad business. Attacking, flair players are generally worth more and a regular international thrown in.

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe he was flown out to Manchester before he changed his mind on joining the rags, and Chelsea just used wilmslow instead of sending him down to London. Some clubs will do Medicals anywhere really - Di Maria did his in Qatar.
