I think it was certainly a close one and it's more likely that they will give it to the defending champion in most cases, should be a great rematch though if they get to run it back

Seen a few people saying they thought Volk did enough everyone was shocked at the decision on the Jre Fight companion too, I'm not saying Islam didn't deserve to win just interesting to see someone push him as much as that
 
I watched the fight without the commentary on, or at least it was really low. I know the crowd was insane and anything that Volk managed to get off was cheered above anything. But i only really had him winning 1 round, the last, the others were pretty much all for Islam although i did have one round (can't remember which one) a bit closer. At worst i had it 3-2, but it seemed like 4-1 was ok. I know some people had one of the rounds as possibly a 10-8 when Islam kept Volk on the ground, but i didn't think he did enough there and Volk was fighting from underneath as well.

I think Volk admitted he didn't expect Islam to be so good on the feet and Islam admitted he didn't expect Volk to be so good in wrestling and on the ground. I would def say a rematch is warranted, maybe in Abu Dhabi at some point.

Yeah agreed. Think they may just do that too. Strike while it's hot and all that...
Volk did say he wants to fight at FW next, him vs Yair will be tasty if they decide not to go with Islam.

Yeah I think they should let them both go away and defend their belts then come back to the rematch, hopefully there's a bit more promotion for this one seen as though its PFP #1 vs #2
 
Edwards wins the 5th and its a draw. Reckon Usman sees this out now
