Re: Strictly Come Dancing Results Show

Conor was great and what a atmosphere at the venue. 2 minutes and the tickets sold out could fill the Aviva or Croke Park by this time next year if he keeps winning.

Croke Park, really? I rate the guy, but you think he can pull bigger numbers than GSP in Canada? Not buying that one.

it was the fastest selling fight in UFC history they could of sold 20,000 tickets in 1 day the demand was so high. It wasnt even for a UFC title. Bring any UFC title fight to Ireland with McGregor headlining and it will fill the Aviva depending on the card it could do Croke Park. Ireland loves there fighters and the amount of people I know who missed out on tickets that would of went is loads. Guessing GSP wasnt headlining his own show and doing the numbers Conor was within 3 fights.

Agreed. However unless it was in Brazil I doubt the UFC would ever do an outside show.

I think the UFC are kicking themselves they couldn't do a bigger arena for McGregor.

That's the problem when he returns the demand for tickets be even greater than it was the last fight. The o2 is the biggest indoor arena in Ireland he sold it out in minutes. The fight was also shown live on Irish TV and that would of opened up new fans who will want to be part of it. Connor wants to do a big arena stadiums and I think in Ireland he will do it easy in my opinion. The Aviva is doable but knowing Connor they could well get a following for Croke Park. UFC would be crazy not to back Connor as he will make it the most profitable event for UFC.

Breaking News!!!

Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier set for UFC178 in September!

That PPV is stacked!!

Huge for McGregor, he wins this they'll be a huge clamour for him to get the title shot with Aldo.

It's a big ask as I'm not convinced with his ground game as of yet.

What do others think?

I'm not too worried. His ground game is better than people think he is training with Gunnar Nelson who most people think has a great ground game so I think he has picked up a lot. Has been a world champion in other organisations so just because he is only a few fights into the UFC he has the belief that he is going to be a world champion in the UFC and I think he can go all the way to the top he is so driven to do it.

Gustaffson out of UFC 178.

Daniel Cormier now faces the champ Jon Jones.

This is a big match!!

Nick Diaz signs 3 fight contract.

Fight vs Anderson Silva rumoured for super bowl weekend.

That bout will be ridiculous!!

In case you haven't heard....

At UFC 183 on Superbowl weekend the main event is:

Anderson Silva vs Nick Diaz

Holy shit!!!

it will be something like 13 months, not enough for such a bad break imo but one plus for him is Diaz won't be throwing kicks or going for takedowns..

He's got the all clear from doctors but I was thinking it was too early too. He's decided to leave the titanium bar/pole in his leg too which is usually taken out.

It will probably be the biggest selling ppv Silva v Sonnen 2.

yeah that will be interesting when he goes through the old metal detectors.
I really wanna see where his heads had, wouldn't be shocked if he's lost all confidence in his kicks.
