Any listen to post fight analysis?
I was listening to Frank Mir talk about Jon Jones' strategy for the first Cormier fight (he was coaching a requested choke hold from Jon) and he was shocked at Jon's fight IQ being amazing.
He said that Jones never wanted to take the opportunity to finish Cormier in that fight, but had every intention to 'break him' mentally so he could have the advantage in the second match (I listened to a recording pre UFC 214).
Mir called Jones a fight "savant" for the ability to analyse the fighter.
Really interesting listening.

Now we just have to way up the 'Team Jones' claim of being 'set up' to see if that's 'provable'. I'm just bemused as he was cleared of any drug aid, in their first fight, so why would he feel the need to cheat?

By that reckoning, you could say that about 99.9% of the fighters.
