Apologies,'Kimbo'?
He passed many years ago, much to everyone's shock, from an enlarged heart.
I must have forgotten that one!
RIP.

All the big stars are gone. Even though they were c*nts McGregor and Rousey brought more eyeballs to it.Feel like UFC has declined massively in popularity in recent years. I know it's mixed martial arts and wrestling is part of that but it's so boring to watch someone just try to smother somebody for 25 minutes. I'm not totally against grappling, I enjoy watching the aggressive submission artists like Oliveira but too many of the current champions are snooze inducing.
The only fight they could make at the moment that would keep me up until 5am would be Aspinall vs Jones.
The judges need reminding damage is the most important factor. The guys who always guaranteed a great scrap like Gaethje, Ferguson, Poirier, Holloway, Mcgregor etc are all on the decline aswell.
Pereira losing to Ankalaev was a disaster for the promotion.
I feel a big Saudi cash injection or similar into a kickboxing promotion could knock it off its perch in the next decade or so.
