General UFC thread

1080p stream is up for those on my servers, enjoy.

I never got why Lesnar is kinda hated in UFC or was, i think he has done well for himself tbh.
He did great but when he won the title he was giving the crowd the double middle fingers when the fight was stopped the booing started then.

Ahh so he was a bit to ready to give it back, to be fair i think i would do the same if they had been on a downer regarding me in the sport because of xyz reason.

The stream is not public chaps, a few on here chuck in to run a kodi server that i administrate for them as i have good access to films/tv etc.
I will look for a public stream now.

Can't wait for tonight despite two main events been pulled.

So many exciting fights to watch on one card it's amazing

My predictions for the 'main card'

Velasquez bt Browne by DEC
Edgar bt Aldo by DEC
Cormier bt Silva by DEC
Tate bt Nunes by DEC

Hunt will beat Lesnar by KO if it's stand up but if Brock takes him down and keeps the fight wresting he will win imo

This card has been brilliant! What a performance by Valesquez and Also, that was the fight he needed to fight vs McGregor should be a tasty rematch. Cormier vs Silva went pretty much how I imagined, just surprised he wasn't able to finish him on the ground.

Now it's time for Brocks return, really hope he can do it.

Lesnar!!!!! Decent performance against a dangerous opponent. Brock is just an animal at take downs, love the guy. Now for Taite vs Nunes... think this is my favourite card in a long time.

Wow Nunes utterly dominated Tate! Read naked choke after busting up that incredibly sexy face :( a face that pretty should not be hit!

Hey guys, what did you make of the Aldo performance? I watched it without sound this morning and I had Aldo comfortably winning every round tbh, only the first round was debatable for me but i'd have given it to Aldo just on the strikes he landed towards the end. But reading the twitter reactions through the fight on mmajunkie, it seems like most pro's had Edgar either winning or at least 2-2 going into the final round...am i missing something?! To me, it looked like perfect control of the octagon and brilliant use of counters which i was amazed to see Edgar taking so well. Good fight but it went pretty much how i thought it would, Aldo's takedown defence has to be up there with the best p4p.

On the DC vs Spider fight, i think people are giving DC too much grief. From the looks of the interviews and video footage, DC took the JJ pull very badly. He looked emotionally drained and it seemed to fuck him up mentally quite a bit. Considering he was in a lose/lose situation while fighting Silva (although obviously not financially!) i think taking Anderson down and doing a Chael on him was a good idea. I think Anderson celebrated because obviously he had no camp and he did what he could in there, it was a tough fight for both.

Lesnar took some decent shots, tbh i didn't think his takedowns were that good they looked to be setup quite poorly but he still landed them. If he returns, i'd like to see him fight Josh Barnett in a 5 round main event, that would be fun as fuck especially given their pro wrestling stints.

Great card. Enjoyed every fight in its own way.

Poor Miesha, she didn't seem to know where she was after tapping.

So I never thought id say this but for me the women stole the show over the weekend. The 2 fights I was looking forward to the most were Jedrzejczyk vs Gadelha 2 (Friday night) and Jones vs Cormier 2, obviously the latter didn't happen. The Jedrzejczyk fight was actually my fight of the weekend and I thought Nunes looked incredible and that was my stand out finish. Slightly annoyed she won my rear naked choke as I had money on her by tko/ko 1st round! Shame Edgar didn't win as him vs McGregor at MSG would of been huge. I was also surprised how many people were writing Lesnar off probably because of him and the WWE, people forget (or I'm not sure if they even realise) he was world champion in the ufc and in my opinion never really looked out of place. Hunt is the 8th ranked heavyweight in the world and although he didn't really open his strikes up was beaten by Lesnar returning after 5 years out, id back Lesnar against other high level heavyweights as well just because of his size, power and unbelievable wrestling/ground and pound style.

On another note Dana White confirmed Bisping would fight Henderson and probably in Manchester.

I think Aldo is back on the roids, personally.

Watched that last night and he didn't look like the same person as he didn't against McGregor.

He was softer against Conor, last night he was shredded. Muscular and lean.

It was a noticeable difference, and there's no way he look that fight lightly against Conor and didn't train sufficiently.

That's not to take too much from his performance last night, which was imperious. But anabolics don't just help you physically, they also help you athletically from an endurance perspective, increasing your red blood cell count.

I don't know though, looked dodgy to me at least.

Sold for 4 billion wow what a win fall that was.
The cards will you would hope see more fighters earning bigger money. Seen Brock got $2.5 million fight fee crazy money and it was to get a star name who would sell out the big numbers on PPV which Brock did. I wonder how many WWE fans bought the rights and how much money it cost them to get Brock from WWE in the first place as he is under contract with WWE still. Crazy high fee. I am guessing McGregor v Nate Diaz in UFC 202 will be doing well to beat 200 when you compare the cards.

As for McGregor hope he can keep it going for as long as he can as next Summer a huge fight in Croke Park for the title would sell a shit load of tickets and would be the highest UFC event of all time money wise it would beat everything in Vagas.
